Information:
RSV comes from RSSV. The second "S" was left for beauty reasons. The abbreviation RSSV itself is made out of the initials of my full legal name and the full name of a good school friend of mine. The whole so called company was only made out of the two of us.
The idea behind RSV is rather old and came up in 2001/2002. We started to create some comics and illustrations. Of course, it was all just for fun and for training purposes. But one who illustrates comics needs a company which serves as the publisher of the books. So i went out and searched for a plausible name. After one afternoon of thinking i came up with the name RSV. After that a logo was found quite fast. From this moment on every graphical product created by one or both of us was published under the logo of RSV.
By the time there came up lots of subsidiary company names such as RSVinteractive and RSVentertainment for audio and video production. The logos also turned from 2D to 3D.
This RSV logo here is the last one that was created. RSV existed until 2004/2005 and brought up 2 comics with a total of 58 DIN A4 pages, 37 single 2D images, an audio cd with 16 dance songs and a logo animation.
Characters like Diddi, a school teacher who is loved by his pupils, the magazine Diddi Facts & Figures are two example products of this great time.
If RSV wouldn't have existed and hence, if i wouldn't have worked so extensively with the variety of multimedia software, i possibly never had discovered my passion for multimedia production. So, i'm very glad now that RSV was there and did all this great stuff.
